hello! I'm just curious on what do you guys do with your last leading string after you're done with your pattern. Do you guys just keep it and let it blend with the base strings when finishing? or do you guys cut it? and if you cut it, won't it untangle since it's the last knot?

hi! 🙂 i used to cut it and if it was too long it would eventually make the bracelet untangle. i have since been blending with my base strings (which has a cool effect when i use twisted ties), but if you don't want to do that, you can cut it longer and attach it to the back of the bracelet with clear nail polish, by sewing it, or by tying it to another string that is sticking out the back

I do pretty much the same as the above user. I make the last knot a backward-forward knot or forward-backward knot so the string doesn't stick out too much. Depending on how I started the bracelet, I will sometimes sew it back behind the string that I knotted it on to.
