when i’m marking a alpha it starts small and gets wider as i go then ends up looking weird

it’s probably a change in your knot tension, at least this is what happened for me ! try and be consistent, least as much as possible 😉 when it happens i try to use my hands to widen the tightest rows 😅

Your knot tension might change because your hands get tired after a while and u don’t tie them as tightly so maybe take more breaks if you’re doing lots at once :]

this happens to me a lot whenever I make alphas, and it's because when you start it, the strings are really close together, no matter if you make a traingle edge, keychain, whatever. the strings will always be super close together, and eventually spread out as they have more space in between them. i guess just try to make sure you have even tension while you knot! : )

Try using a consistent knot tension also you can use a ruler to keep rows straight and tell sonnet if the sides are staying straight and then better fix it
