I kind of want to make shoelaces, but I have no idea how, so if anyone has made some or knows how, please tell me!I don’t know how much thread to cut or what pattern to use, soo help! |

I made shoelaces for one of my shoes (I was too lazy to do both of them 🙃)I just made a regular candystripe with 6 strands. For my shoes (vans) a 6 strand bracelet fit best through the holes. I did not cut the strings. I just knotted with the whole skeins and cut them in the end. |

@halokiwi do you think this would work with a 6 or 8 strand chevron or would it be too thick?

@odd_ducky I recommend trying it out on your shoes, if you can fit a 6 or 8 string bracelet through the holes. For my shoes 6 strings was perfect.
