Straight edge technique on wallhangs

Hey guys! I’m struggling with smth! If I work on a wallhanging, the shades will be very ugly and smaller then the previous row! How do I fix this?

The shades?When doing the straight edges technique in alphas, you always need to make two bf or fb knots! One replaces the last knot of the previous row, the other replaces the first knot of the new row. If you are only doing one, you are missing a knot. |
