When doing alphas, especially thinner ones with less rows across but lots of Color changes in each row, my bracelets get wider in those sections the more Color changes there is and then back to thinner when it goes back to less Colors. Does anybody else have this problem and If so any suggestions on how to make it look more even?Thankyou😊 |

@NandyPie I also have problems with this too! are you using the flat alpha technique? that really helped me with keeping the width a little more even.@_kinseyb has a great tutorial on the flat alpha technique that I followed: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C-TNzvNGxAM&t=287s Even when doing this technique, I find my alphas can be wonky still but no one is a machine haha hope this helps 😊 |

Yes I do use the flat bracelet technique. Thankyou for the suggestion but yeah it still does it. I guess it's just hard to avoid as you are adding in a bunch of thread it has to go somewhere🙃.....lol it's hard not wanting that "machine" perfection sometimes 😉 🤣.

when you do the flat alpha technique, try pulling on the old leading string tight after you’ve done the colour change. masha knots mentions it once in her flat alpha video, she says if the knot needs neatening to pull the old leading string. so like once you’ve done the colour change before you move the old leading string out of the way, pull on it a bit and it just makes the knot a bit neater and it does help with that problem a bit 🙂
