So, I'm trying to make pattern #104338, and I've never made an alpha, I'm watching Masha Knots' tutorial, but it doesn't tell me how to get the blue string into the pattern on row 2, and I'm really confused. What should I do?

For colour switches at the edge, you do a regular colour switch instead of a flat alpha colour switch. You start with the blue in row 2 exactly how you started with the grey in row 1.

@halokiwi Ohh ok thank you! Maybe I'll try a different pattern for my first alpha 🙂

I'm honored that you are making my pattern! I would suggest a simpler pattern though for a beginner, just to get used to bringing new colors into the bracelet. I don't have time right now, but tomorrow I can send a list of alphas that would be a good first time.
