I'm having a lot of difficulty when trying to make bracelets which have asymmetrical patterns while wanting to start with a loop.I know you can separate embroidery thread into half and then link opposite strings together but whenever I try to split my thread it gets so knotted and tangled. Does anyone have any tips or advice? |

You can tie to strings of different colours together and "hide" the know in the loop. You can google for a tutorial on how to do that exactly but that's basically it.

@Protec you just have to be really careful when you split your string. What I found helped a little is to split a little at a time and then running my hand down the un-split part to untwist it. The string still gets kind of messy, but it’s better than nothing.

you can also try an invisible knot using either the magic knot method (it might leave a bump though) or the russian knot (which you might want to try out with a short strand of your yarn first because i dont know how well that will work with different yarns)

Maybe watching masha knots video might help, just to see how she does it.
