So idk if this is a simple thing or not, but when I see ppl when they do alphas like cow alpha patterns and such, the starts aren’t triangle starts. There’s a photo under pattern #134379 and that’s the start I’m talking about. I’m confused and I really wanna do this but idk how? Thanks |

The photo shows a regular loop and afterwards the bracelet seems to have just been started in a straight line without any special technique. This only works for small amount of strings because otherwise it will bend.Do you have another picture where this is visible? I might be able to give you more accurate information. |

Looking at your photos this seems to be what you are doing already 🤔

it’s a bracelet loop with a shaped start! i can’t find any tutorials on that start specifically, im sure they exist i just can’t find one in my quick searches. but if youre already doing the plain bracelet loop start, you can look up a tutorial for shaped bracelet loop starts and it’s easy to combine the two techniques to make a start that looks like that 🙂

I think this tutorial might be useful because it explains the same technique but used on a keychain: https://www.braceletbook.com/tutorials/130_shaped-keychain-tutorial/It's like a regular alpha triangle start that is knotted row by row using the alpha technique, but you don't start the triangle at 1 knot per row, but with just a little less than the regular amount of knots per row. |

Im not sure if this is what you mean but you just do forward backward knots over all the strings then fold it over and connect it with a forward backward knot
