Do i do the flat alpha technique with upside down patterns?

I was just wondering if i had to make the flat alpha technique with the upside down technique because i’m making my first upside down pattern and i don’t want it to turn out badly! Thanks! 😄

You can do it, but you don't need to do it. The flat alpha technique always looks a little nicer, but it's up to you. It works with or without. You just need to adjust the flat alpha technique a little when using it for upside down alphas.
