Is there a forum or tutorial anywhere about how to remove straight edges from a pattern? I know how to add straight edges to patterns that don’t have them, but not how to remove them and make the pattern without them. there’s a pattern I really want to make that has a straight edge border and I would like to make it without it, I just think it would look cooler with the colours I have in mind 🙂

To remove the straight edge technique, remove the right most and the left most string. Don't do the first and the last knot of the rows in which you would otherwise knot onto these strings.
