oh yeah. you could do triangle ends at the end of the cats, and then with all the strings bunched together, do square knots or whatever knots you want on all the strings to create space. and then to start the next cat with a triangle start

you could also try being rly careful and put tape over the strings and create spave that way by knotting up to the tape so that the string covered by the tape creates the space

It is meant to be knotted like a daisy chain. So gathering the strings after the center points of the hexagon. It makes a black chain piece that connects the pictures.

I submitted an example photo on one of my other patterns but it hasn’t been approved yet. If you want look up how to do a daisy chain. Triangle ends and starts and teardrop starts. This will help you with this pattern. Happy knotting. 😜

There are a few other tutorials on shaped paterns so you could exclude the black chain knots and just have hexagons. Up to you how you tie this. I haven’t made it yet, but I had a flood of ideas with chain patterns so I just started submitting them!
