I've been making bracelets for a little while but I was wondering if there are any suggestions on how to segment knot patterns without tutorials?

I like to knot in the formation of a chevron. I find it easier then segment knotting

my suggestion would be to try creating your own normal pattern, that’s what really taught me how to segment knot! i found that creating my own pattern with the interactive normal pattern creator made me learn how the knots work in sections, and i can now segment knot most bracelets by just looking at the picture, i usually don’t need the actual patterns anymore 🙂
