I have noticed that my bracelets never turnout to have the thickness they're supposed to. No matter how many strings I add the bracelet doesn't look as wide as it does in the design. What should I do? 🙁

It is common that alpha patterns are stretched out. That is what you are talking about, right?Try using thicker base strings, knotting looser and/or pushing your rows up after knotting. |

Hey, thanks for responding. I'm talking about regular bracelets in general. I usually get my thread from Hobby Lobby but I don't see the type of thread that I want. Where do you by your thread from?

Most people use embroidery floss. I think that should be available at a store like hobby lobby or any other craft store. I order mine from dmc or get it from tedi (German equivalent of the dollar store). What leads you to the conclusion that your bracelets are not as wide as they should be? |

When I see other people's bracelets compared to mine they are always the same length but never the same width. They always turn out to be smaller.

I think if you posted a photo it might make it easier to determine what the issue is and if there even is an issue. What material are you currently using for your bracelets? Are they stretchy and soft or are they stiff and hard? |
