i want to make my first keychain pattern but i have no idea where to buy the actual keychain itself. where do you buy yours?

Hi! 🙂 I bought a 50 pack of amazon for around 10$. I think amazon has others, too. Try looking up D shaped swivel keychains. Hope this helps! 👍

You can try just the normal circle-shaped keyrings as well, they work great for some patterns. You can get them off Amazon for a pack of 50, even. I particularly like shaped bracelets, I actually just submitted a few photos of a mini-collection I made of shaped keychains with the circle keyrings. I used a lark's-head knot, if this is any help. 🙂

hi ! i bought mine on amazon, they were 3/4 inch ones which i find kinda small but they are the most commons, there are also 1 inch ones which are slightly more expensive but you get to put more strings on them 🙂
