normal bracelets have holes in them

Hi! I am having issues with making normal patterns and they look stretched out and have little holes in them. I am not messing up the pattern and am focusing on making my knots tight enough. What am I doing wrong?

Are the holes visible on their own or only when you hold the bracelet against the light? Because the second is completely normal.Make sure that you are making the first half of your knot tight enough and that it does not come loose while making the second half. The first half determines the placement of the knot, the second half secures it in place. |

sometimes i’ve found it can be caused by making my knots too tight. i find if i adjust the tension a little and make the knots firm enough to avoid holes but not tight enough for the string to pull super tight then it helps make the holes a lot smaller bc the knots take up more space!having tiny holes in your bracelets is totally
