I am using the straight edge technique but somehow my bracelets still don’t turn out completely straight. Any tips?

When knotting your bracelet, I would suggest using a clipboard to secure your bracelet and pushing it up as you knot. Using a clipboard has definitely helped improve the straightness of my alphas, but it may also just take time and practice before you begin to feel satisfied with your alphas.

i would say use a ruler, and keep color changes with different pieces of thread, also u can pull to make it even

sometimes you have to move or stretch the knots out while you’re making the bracelets. so like if you see that the edges are about to become crooked then you can use your hands to push the knots up or “stretch” the bracelet horizontally

If you’re using the straight edge technique you’ll need to try and keep those edge base strings straight otherwise every ‘wiggle’ in that string will show along your edge. The straight edge technique only turns the usual ridge line inward, it does not correct anything beyond that.
