I made an alpha bracelet and wanted to do little braided ties at both ends. The problem is that the base strings (the ones that would make the braid) are too short. Is there a way to add in thread? any help appreciated thanks

Are you already done with the knotting part? If not you can add new base strings but that requires knotting over them...

@pelulu I already finished the knotting part. I might be able to knot 1-2 rows if that's what's needed to make it longer.

okay if you can still add to the knotted part then you can tape down new strings that are the same number of base strings and tape those under the bracelet and knot over them but leave a bit of extra string at the top then knot over all the base strings and before you make the end I would suggest turning the bracelet over and knotting the new base strings together on the back just in case they come out when you make the ending part.
