What should I do if my threads are different thicknesses?

So, I ran out of some thread in the middle of a pattern, and I went to buy some more. However, it’s a different brand, so the new thread is thinner and makes much tinier knots compared to the original. I don’t really want to buy more of the original thread, so is there any way I can make the size difference less noticeable?

ive never tried this but maybe you could try doubling it up and if thats too much doubling it up and then like taking out part of the bunch in the second part or something. hope that makes sense.

You can knot not as tight the thiner thread and it would look bigger. Hope this helps!

You could try separating some of the tiny threads from the larger one then double up and it should work :]
