how do you cut wooden dowels without a saw??

tbh idk how, but you could break it and sand the end down. or attempt to use scissors and sand jt afterwards. again ive never done that so ick how well it would work. a sharp knife used likr a saw. ignt work too

I usually cut them using scissors first make a mark for where you want to cut it. Then grab your scissors and start by closing them over the line firmly and start doing a sort of backward forward movement on the line for like 5 or 10 seconds or until you see a sort of dent forming. Then moving it forward towards a new section and repeat the steps until that also starts to dent, you can continue doing this all around until it is weak and then you can snap off the excess. Then just file it down with a nail file or sandpaper and there you go. Also if you want you can also just act like you are cutting paper when on top if the line if that makes it easier to understand. I cut with scissors and then use a nail file to sand down.

Use scissors and twist your dowel around until it’s thin enough to easily break off and file or sand or I use my pocket knife and saw to the same effect and file or sand.
