Hi, so I wanted to make an alpha with double triangle ends but the bass strings are odd number, so my question is how do I started double triangle ends with odd number of string? |

For one of your triangle ends you have to use one string less than for the other. That means they won't look completely identical but (assuming the pattern has a relatively high amount of strings) this will barely be visible. That also means that one of the triangle ends has an odd amount of strings. But that also should not be an issue. What exactly is it that you are confused about? Are you planning to make a loop? Do you want to knot the triangle ends with the alpha technique or the normal technique? (both is possible for alphas) |

oh i want to do triangle ends with the normal technique. The pattern called for 19 base strings, but then i realized that i could use the background string as part of the triangle ends, so i’m not confused anymore i was making this harder on myself. Thank you for trying to help tho. I really appreciate it. Sorry.
