hello! so every time i do the twisted ties they turn out quite wonky. sometimes they unravel themselves inside the knot that i did at the and sometimes they're bending on themselves. how do you fix that?

I don’t know what to do about the bending, my thinner ties do that as well, but for the unraveling, what I do is after I tie the knot I pull on each individual string to tighten it. I do this once or twice (since sometimes after you tighten one it will further release another) then after I have the knot tightened I add a small drop of clear nail polish to it before I cut the strings. Also don’t cut the string to short since this may cause it to unravel I typically leave about 1/2 in.

It sounds like you might not be doing them entirely correct? Twisted ties, once knotted shouldn’t unravel unless you’ve not done them correct. When you have your two pieces you twist them in the same direction, and then you twist those two twisted sections around each other the opposite way. (Ex twist right, wrap around left). Essentially the force of the string wanting to unravel in two different directions is what keeps it together. If you twist and wrap in the same direction it will unravel. Bending would generally indicate that you’ve twisted one side too tight! Loosen your twist a bit and that should stop.
