Hey! For color switches on the edge make sure that you aren’t using the flat alpha technique (it will cause the string to stick out) make the color switch as normal, just without the flat alpha technique, and push the old color up and behind your work. For the next row you should be able to make the first and second knots without the old color peeking through, now for this color switch you can use the flat alpha technique and then continue as normal I hope this helps! |

@Lulu_Ninja i use the flat alpha technique when doing color switches on the edges! if the pattern looks like xxxb↩️ xxbb↩️ essentially i make the full knot of b on the first row without the loose x string in the middle of it. instead i tie it into the left-most b on the second row which holds the pattern together. not sure how much sense that makes but i found out that masha knots made a video on it - may help you 🙂 https://youtu.be/T6eRTOWtHlU |

@aureliusThat’s also the method I use, just confusing to explain over text 😂 But I didn’t realize Masha had a video explaining it so that’s good to know! |

@Ana12bela I think if possible you should avoid bringing strings that you don't need at the edge all the way out to the edge.
