I want to make a wall hanging for alpha but I’m not sure what kind of wooden dowels to get and I don’t want them to be too thick or long. Which ones do you guys recommend?

Hey! I also just started making wall hangings, and so far I've only made small ones (with regular size embroidery floss, 50-65 base strings), but I just used regular skewers that you can get at the grocery store. I know some people use bigger wooden dowels and I'd guess they are about 1/4 in. thick but I'm 100% sure

@hiimtrinn the best way is to just go off the picture and ignore the main directions on how to knot it.

you can also get them at lowes or another store like that, but i would say skewers if you want something thinner
