Colors Showing Through Knots

Sometimes if I’m knotting on top of another color the colors can sometimes show through the knot. Does anyone have a way to fix this? It typically shows through on the edges of normal bracelets.

something that i find helps with this is to hold each of the two strings of your knot in different hands while you are making the knot, and pull on the string that is not being knotted with lightly, while you use the other hand to make the knot with the other string. if you have already done the knot and the wrong color is showing through, usually you can pull on the string of the color that shouldn’t be showing, and it will pop out of that position to correct the color. hope that helps!

What I do is hold my base string tight but not to tight so the bracelet stretches, then when you tie your knot, make the first half pretty tight the second normal or however
