u can see in my pictures how my alphas look kinda stretched, I was wondering if there was some way to fix that or are my alphas forever cursed to look stretched??

It could be because of how loose or tight you tie your knots

@x_x yea I feel like if I made the knots tighter it wouldn't look as stretched but if I tie my knots tight my bracelet turns out wonky and I usually prefer my knots somewhere in between tight and loose, thanks for your reply tho! I'll give it a try

looking at your photos, the rows are stretched where there are more color switches, so i would focus on keeping a looser tension on rows with less color switches and slightly tighter tension on rows with more color switches to even it out a bit

Hi! I actually think that tying knots looser helps, and try to push your knots up with a ruler at the end of each row to make the row turn out more straight and square. Also I would not recommend using the clean back alpha technique until you can make square knots with the normal technique since it’s known to sometimes warp your knots. Hope this helps :]
