bracelet teardrop loop issues

I prefer to start my bracelets with a teardrop loop and I need help with an issue in doing one.When the pattern is mirrored I have no problems but if different colors on each side that is where I need help. What i have found is you overlap the ends add a longer color strand and start loop with it once loop is made you gently pull string ends under the loop (so ends are tucked just inside the ends of the loop) . I can do it but when i start with my pattern the ends generally come out of loop. What am I doing wrong??? Any better suggestions??? |
