Does anyone else try to convert patterns into bead loom patterns? I found a horse pattern or two and did it successfully but some of these are super pretty but I prefer bead over cord.

I have no experience working with bead loom but bead loom patterns seem to have the same structure as alpha patterns. It does not seem like you need to change anything about the pattern in order to use it.

I also enjoy doing bead loom projects, to convert alphas into patterns that work for beads you don’t need to change anything, just know that you should use the grid not the pattern part, and use the string amount listed, not the dimensions (if it says it is 12 strings, but dimensions are 11x74 use 12 string not 11 like you would when knotting)

You can only do alpha patterns on a bead loom. Normal ones won’t work. But you can do any alpha pattern as long as it’s not too big. Every knot is now just a bead. I love using bead looms, if you ever want a few tips, you can message me! Good luck with you beading!
