What do you do when your base string breaks on an alpha?

Help! I have been working on this bracelet for a couple days and I’m over halfway done and a base sting just broke! I don’t know what to do and I really don’t want to scrap this bracelet

Hi! I have had this happen to me only a few times. I normally just tape the snapped string onto my workspace, just next to where it broke and continue like it didn't happen. You'll have to be quite gentle though for the first few rows. I think that it should be ok after that, but if you want you could put a little bit of glue over the spot where you replaced the string. Hope that this helps! 😊
