Hey! I bought 2 sizes, 1/2 in. And 1 in. And I found that I just both about the same amount. For my thread the 1/2 in works best for patterns under 14 strings but for anything over that I use the 1 in. But I know some people also prefer the 3/4 in. ones so I think it’s just a matter of what size keychains you plan to be making.
