I've been into making shaped bracelets lately but I've noticed the between diamonds/circles, I struggle with getting the triangle ends to line up nicely. Like I'll make the triangle end and then do the triangle start for the next diamond/circle, but a hole develops between the 2 diamonds/circles. No matter how carefully I tie them together, I always seem to have a hole between the two and it doesn't look as smoothly as it should be. Is this normal or am I doing something wrong?

i like to tie a knot between the 2 ends from the triangle end before doing the next start jf that makes any sense. but yes i would get holes in the pattern

What I do is when I get to the last string in finishing the triangle end I do a backward forward knot on the left side on all of the strings on the left and a forward backward on the strings on the right. I tie a knot between the two (If needed you can do a forward backward knot so the strings stay on the same sides) and then I only do half a knot to remove the strings from the bundle before continuing with the next triangle end.

Thank you both for your suggestions!! That'll help me out a great deal on my next bracelet. I'm always looking for ways to improve so I appreciate your help.

I often do a macrame square knot before or after triangle ends, if advice is still needed.
