I'm in a slump for the 28383929838390938384th time and I love this hobby but I go into slumps quickly and for a while. (tmi?? kinda personal thing but it ties in) i think part of the issue atm is that my current project is an alpha that was supposed to be for my sister in law. but like now I realize she causes my brother a lot of issues and anxiety and I just don't want to make a bracelet for her but I don't want to throw away my beautiful bracelet that I put so much time in because i thought it was for her... how do I knot again😭😭

Sorry about your bracelet slump and about your brother!You can finish the alpha and give it to your brother instead? or if you don't want to finish it off maybe u can stop it short and just use it as a keychain / zipper for a bag You can take a break for a few days and scroll through some simple patterns that you'd like to make for yourself or a friend. And when you're ready just take it slow until you're exciting about getting it done 😊 |

@Zaan_13 thank you, it's alright, I believe both of them are getting help. I could do that- give it to him, because it could be like an improvement thing since the first bracelet I gave to him was my first alpha and this one would be so much better. I may do that, because this double triangle start is SO PRETTYYY and I don't want to scrap it. thank you very much for your suggestions !!!!!

Btw in general to get out of slumps I like to make a bracelet for a something coming up e.g. a birthday or a festival or something :]

Try making something small and maybe a pattern that you can easily memorize/ remember but not that it’s boring.
