Hi!

Can you elaborate a bit more on the issue you are having?
- Are you new to alphas and want some max color/string suggestions to get you started? (2-4 colors throughout and 8-16 strings that are not too long are really good; I recently made pattern #72865 that had 3 colors, but one was only used for a few rows, it was 16 rows across and 50 long. It was a quick knot and pretty relaxing)
- Are you confused that a size will say 15x32, but you only have 14 base strings and that 15th string is a knotting string (can be more than one depending on the number of colors used)?
- Are you have trouble starting the bracelet? (tons of tutorials in the tutorial section: https://www.braceletbook.com/tutorials/127_the-larks-head-knot/ )
- Are you haveing trouble keeping the bracelet flat? (braceletbook has a tutorial for that too)
- Are you having trouble locking in a color change? (there is also a tutorial for that as well: https://www.braceletbook.com/tutorials/10_multicolor-alpha/ & https://www.braceletbook.com/tutorials/106_how-to-make-color-switches-in-an-alpha/ )

Sorry, not sure what you were trying to get at with your forum topic, so more info would be helpful to give you better advice! 🙂

For a pattern that says 15 strings, you need to cut 14 base strings and you also need one leading string per colour used.
