How to fix slanted alpha knots?

I've recently started making alpha patterns and I noticed that the knots seem to be slanted. They aren't looking very neat. If y'all have any advice please lmk! 😊

All I can really say that may help is do the first couple rows really slowly to make sure they stay straight also using a ruler or card of some sort and pushing on the top and bottom should help :3

What @TaM03 said is very true! I use a ruler or card after every row to make them straighter and it really helps 😊
