Stretched image???

Hey so, i have a problem that when i do a pattern sometimes it gets stretched? Like the image was a circle but when i make it it ends like an oval?? I dont know if im knoting wrong or is like it is and i have to accept it

Hi! I have this problem all the time. It's because alpha knots (I'm not sure about normal knots) turn out longer than they do wide, which causes a stretched image. I have found a way to prevent this for most patterns. What I do is remove a few rows that are the same in a circle pattern so that in the pattern it is wider than it is longer, so that it evens out. I hope that this makes sense! For example in pattern #19454 I would remove row 11 for the first planet. However, it can be more difficult in patterns that don't have exact circles.
