odd base strings vs. even base strings

hi guys, i just started with alphas and i was wondering if is a difference between having odd base strings or even base strings. I've looked through the threads and the only difference i see is with the beginning loop, but is there a difference in difficulty with either?

No, the only difference is indeed when making a loop and I don't think there's a difference in difficulty
