Hello friends,Any help for starting non-chevron-based patterns in a triangle, as in this example - https://media.braceletbookcdn.com/photos/000/000/108/905/000000108905/image.jpg I know how to do it for chevron-based patterns. Much appreciated |

Hi!If you want to make triangle ends for your normal patterns, here are a few videos that can help you out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FovN0GDccEc&t=214s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=05sDSDDr5rM&t=406s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yvNQi7zxU8Q&t=32s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sf_VdXfjRxs |

You basically do it the same way. Even without a chevron in the pattern, you can just start with a v shape wherever you want 🙂I have written a tutorial but I'm not sure it's helpful https://www.braceletbook.com/tutorials/98_how-to-make-triangle-ends/ |

Thanks all, I'm a little confused by the terminology. When someone says "normal" pattern, does that mean not an alpha, AND also not a chevron-based pattern, or does it just mean not an alpha. I always though it meant just not an alpha. Is there a common parlance to distinguish between patterns based on chevrons, and those that aren't. Symmetrical perhaps? That is the main difference.
