directional knots in alphas

how do you avoid directional knots in alphas? mine always seem to go // in one direction and \\ and the other, so if there's a shape in a bracelet it can give it weird angles. Is it possible without doing it in a different medium like tapestry or cross stitch etc? 🤔

You could try experimenting with the angles at which you hold the base and leading strings when knotting.

I would try to make your knots looser, it looks like you are tying them too tight and thats what gives it that angle. just try looser knots and they will be a little rounder and not have as an extreme of an angle. hope this helps! <3
