So I’m making an alpha where I need two different colors. But the problem isn’t that I don’t have them, it’s that they’re both different thicknesses. The black is way thicker than the red. Should I even it out by “peeling” some of the tread from the black to make it thinner? Thanks

This sounds like a good idea. I would recommend to remove some strands of the thicker one and then knot a test swatch to see, if you really got them down to the same knot size.

@halokiwi thanks! I’ll definitely try that out!

Yes! I sometimes remove some of the strands of the thicker threads to make them the same thickness as the thinner ones. Much easier than adding strands to the thinner! 😄
