Hi! I hope you are doing well! I’ve been trying to figure out how to use double base strings in alpha Wallhangings but am lost. I would really appreciate it if someone could help me out. Thank you ❤️❤️ |

Doubling base strings means that you knot over two base strings at once instead of just knotting over one base string like regularly.Let's say your pattern has 20 base strings originally. If you double your base strings, you would need 40 strings. I recommend cutting 20 strings that are double the length, folding them in half and attaching them to a dowel using larks head knots. |
