attaching patch applicators to clothes

has anyone attached patches to their clothes… and like would you recommend that?my main dilemma is wondering if i should sew it on or buy some iron-on backing to attach to them. and my secondary (but possibly more main) dilemma would be what would happen if it were to go into the washing machine. im wondering if anyone has done this to their bracelets/patches and if it leads to mangling of the craft or it pulls in the fabric of clothing. thanks! |

As for patches, sewing should be fine if the patch is not too thick. It should be fine in the washer! As for iron on patch backs, I would go to your local craft store and look at the back of the packages for care instructions!

@mrs_jordan how thick is too thick? it’s the thickness of a regular bracelet

You will know if it is too thick if you are going to be hand sewing. It will be difficult to get the needle through the patch. Try to get some thicker needles if you run into this problem.
