when i’m making alphas I never go in a straight line, my alphas tend to turn out wonky and uneven to the right. How can I make alphas that go in a straight line?

Try using the straight edge technique. Another tip is after you tie each row, use a ruler to push the knots up so they are all even! I saw this tip on a masha knots video and it really helped me!

you can try loosening your knots, when tightening pulling more to the top
