how close to the bracelet can you cut off the knotting strings?? especially the ones around the middle that are just... there..?

You can cut them relatively short especially when using the flat alpha technique

I usually cut them as close as I can and if think it might unravel or come undone, then I add a little dab of glue to it. That usually works but it is still unlikely that it will come undone unless your knots are really loose

I like to cute the threads short but not to short then I add a little bit of clear nail polish to help the threads not come undone it works really well and holds for a long time more than 6 months for sure
