Does anyone know how to make the flip flop bracelet into a keychain form? I've seen alot of pics about them but can't for the life of me figure out how they're made! It looks like the alpha technique is used but idk. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

can you please let me know a pattern number so I can see it, is it the flip flop candy stripe? From the sounds, it looks like you attach it to the keyring using a larks head knot, and make it + ties.

@peanutsv I'm not sure if this is the correct pattern number but I found it on an Pinterest from a screenshot of an instagram post...#36730 . All of the pictures that I have seen look like the alpha technique with base strings but I could be wrong 😂

I think you are right! here was a tutorial I found! https://youtu.be/JX6R8AUFYCY But start the keyring or whatever you are attaching it on with a larks head knot!

@peanutsv Not exactly. This is the type of pattern I am looking at (but definitely wider)...its from Masha Knots https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d2YfKa5Y7QM Also, socalthreadsco on instagram has one as well.

@peanutsv But is there a certain way to start it? Like, how do you hide the beginning and ending string?

You make larks head knots to attach the base strings to a key ring and then yes you do knot as if its an alpha. You knot one row of forward knots and then flip the bracelet and make another row. You keep repeating doing a row of forward knots and flipping it until the keychain is the desired length and then you can finish it however you'd like.
