BRUHHH I decided to just skip over it because it was a background part and I didnt think anyone would notice BUT I FRICKING BROKE ANOTHER ONEHOWWWWWWWW HOW DID I MANAGE TO BREAK 2 BASE STRINGS WIKS7DVQUVDJAA and the second one I broke was an important part of the design and now I quit life 😭 |

I think you can do it similarly to how you add a new color on an alpha except its a base string. just take new one next to the bracelet like you would for a new color and continue your knotting with the new base string and leave the end of the old one sticking out behind it. I had to do this when half of one of my base strings snapped and it was thinner than all the rest. Hopefully this makes sense.

i think you can tape a new one down, and get the old one back and start knotting on the new one
