Hey ok so the knots on my alphas r like really rectangularish and it kind of extends the pattern. I’ve heard about making knots less tighter but it elongates my alphas even more. Does anyone have any suggestions?

You could use thicker base strings (doubling up the base strings has the same effect) or push the knots up with a ruler after each row

Do you want to make them longer or shorter.

I have found that using a flat edge and pushing up each row helps, immune still aren’t perfect though but it’s better.

@halokiwi @Poppy-seed thank you! I tried pushing up after each row and it worked. I also made my first knot (in like a forward or backward knot) a bit more looser while still keeping my second knot pretty firm and tight so that the pattern wouldn’t be as smushed together thx again!!
