Im doing a pattern with multiple color switches and i had to cut off my pattern and start all over due to the back where its all unorganized, string crossing which makes the string pile up to make my pattern bumpy, etc. i really need help with this because this is a pattern for someone thats buying it from me and i really need to finish it. I would love if anyone gave me any tips, info’s, just anything

Here are some options that come to mind- find a method to keep your strings organised well, so the loose leading strings in the back don't tangle (more difficult option) - just cut all loose leading strings in the back (easiest and potentially more effective) - if your pattern has a border or bigger areas of the same colour on opposite sides, use two (or more) leading strings of the same colour. This way one string does not have to go across the whole back all the time. Helps to save string too. (not complicated and already helps a lot) |

hopefully this isn't too late for you, but I use a clipboard so I like to take my colors and drape them over the top in order! Like I'll have red, blue, pink on the left in that order, and purple, yellow, green on the right also in that order. when I use it I put it right back. It is simple but if you pull pretty tight/close to the back of the bracelet as you drape, it's something that I have found to work really well!
