making alphas more stable/stiff?

I'm about to make an alpha as a keychain, but i don't know if there is a way that I can possibly make it more stable of stiff, like maybe applying glue to the back or something? or if there is a way to knot it? idk : (

You could use thicker base strings, make a double sided alpha and glue or sew both halves together or attach some fabric or felt to the backside.

Maybe if you try making the knots a little tighter, so they don't separate as much, idk how to explain it correctly
