ive seen people make them w all kinds of thicknesses but it really depends on preference. ik ppl like embroidery floss, so probably something like that. and some people like them thicker if they tie their knots tightly

I personally do not do this, but I know maaaaaany people who mix pearle cotton, embroidery floss and craft cord together in normal bracelets and have not had issues. For alphas, always recommend using the same type of string and the same brand if possible!
