alphas curving

my alphas are curving to the side. im doing the straight edges technique but it still curved. anyone got any tips on how to stop this?

are you making two bf and fb on each side bc if not, then that’s probably why it’s curving

@senor i am doing that. now that i think about it its prob because im pulling on the knots too tight.

it could be that as well, or maybe u make forward knots or backwards knots tighter than the others, so knot tension could also be the culprit

Make sure that all the leading strings you are using have the same thickness. Using the flat alpha technique for colour switches can help make the bracelet smoother. Don't pull the loose leading strings in the back too tight. If you realise afterwards, that you pulled them too tight, you can just cut them when you are done.
