Do I need to weave in the previous color (like for flat alpha technique), when I have to change multiple times between 2 colors like ababababab (colour a and color b) or how do you do it? It’s in a section of around 12 base strings in the middle of 50 base strings in total over around 12 rows. Any suggestion is very welcome. Thanks in advance

If you want to use the flat alpha technique, then yes, you would, but to make it easier, you can leave the string you’re weaving through on top of the base strings instead of tucking it under so that it’s easier to do the next knot.

Yeah thanks, I used the weaving in method and it turned out to be quite easy for these switches.

I am trying to make my first alpha and it is so hard to do it. The instructions won't fit in the page and it says something about it being 50 LINES 🤯 😭 . I am doing this for school and it has to be done by at least January 10. Can you please help me?

@Idefixbook: can you post your pattern number here? If it says 50 strings usually it is 49 base strings plus the first working string. There are many videos about doing alphas here among the video section as well as on YouTube
